Hardaway uses two big innings to knock off Brookstone

COLUMBUS, Ga. -

The Hardaway Hawks traveled to Brookstone and knocked off the Cougars, 7-2, Wednesday afternoon.

Hardaway put up three apiece in the first and third innings, and added the seventh in the fourth inning.

Bryan Pate got the win for five innings of work, striking out three. Jordan Waddell struck out five for Brookstone.

The Cougars did get their first home run of the year in the bottom of the third when Drew Webb went deep with nobody on.

Brookstone is off until April 10 when they host Miller County for senior day. Hardaway has Northside coming to town for two on Saturday.
