ATLANTA, Ga. -

A Columbus woman has won a $400,000 prize from the Georgia Lottery. Twenty-five-year-old Whitney Lewis played the instant game $400,000 Grant and won a top prize.

She bought the winning ticket from a vending machine at the Summit gas station located at 2218 Victory Drive.

The married mother of three claimed the prize Monday at the lottery district office in Columbus.

"I put money into the machine, and it came out," Lewis said. "When we saw what we'd won, my husband and I just left." Lewis said it feel surreal. "It hasn't hit us. It's still shocking."

A local grocery seafood clerk, Lewis anticipates purchasing a new home for her family.
