The Midtown Classic is gearing up for its seventh year

Posted: Updated:
COLUMBUS, Ga. -

Hundreds of families will be helped again this year by the Midtown Classic race. Hallie Taylor from Wynnton United Methodist Church sat down with us to share more about the event. Now in its seventh year, the Midtown Classic benefits Wynnton Neighborhood Network, a non-profit organization that provides food and other necessities to families in Midtown Columbus; and Wynnton Neighborhood Housing, a non-profit organization that improves the quality of life through the elimination of substandard housing in the East Wynnton Neighborhood. When you race, your registration fee goes towards those projects. The race is on April 27th this year. The cost for the one mile fun run is $10. You get a discount on the registration fee for the 5k if you sign up before April 12. Click here for more information.
