Columbus Museum celebrates 60 years with events

Posted: Updated:
COLUMBUS, Ga. -

The Columbus Museum is celebrating 60 years in 2013. The annual fundraiser, Let There Be Art & Bloom, will offer several events meant to show off the museum's history and contributions to the community. There's something to appeal to nearly everyone, from an evening out to a family friendly picnic. Some of the events are free, but package pricing is available for others. The Art After Dark dinner party kicks things off on Thursday, April 18. Guests will be able to preview and purchase art and botanicals before the event opens on Friday. The dates for the plant sale are April 19-25. A Southern Picnic will be hosted on Sunday, April 21. For more information, visit the Columbus Museum or call (706) 748-2562.
