A new report questions the accuracy of some medical studies

Posted: Updated:

A new report is questioning the reliability of neuroscience studies. A team of British researchers reviewed 48 articles that deal with the study of the nervous system and found they had only a 20 percent chance of actually finding the results they were investigating - mostly because the studies were too small. The report said small sample sizes lead to conclusions that could be false or misleading and increasing sample size will help improve accuracy.
