A stalled out front across the mid section of the country will remain in a holding pattern, with high pressure across the mid-Atlantic states. A strong southeasterly moist flow at the surface and aloft, will increase humidity.

This pattern will increase overnight surface humidity adding patchy fog each morning or a overcast low stratus cloud layer. This layer will dissipate with increased surface winds during the day; and a mixture of sun and clouds, with above average readings will follow.

Convective type clouds increase with daytime heating and higher humidity, similar to late Spring around here. We will even see a passing shower or storm.

We will keep our eye on a strong upper level low across the mid-west on 12Z – 18Z Friday, with an advancing squall line and then FROPA late. This appears to weaken a bit and loses a little moisture in our area. Our Alabama counties should get more rain, for now.

TUESDAY:  Fog early then a mix of sun and clouds, a slight chance late in the afternoon. High: 85

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear then patch fog. Lows near 65.

WEDNESDAY: Isolated showers in the afternoon. Highs near 85.

Wednesday Night: Becoming mostly cloudy. Lows near 64.

THURSDAY:  Another chance of rain in the afternoon. High: 83

Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain. Lows near 62.

FRIDAY:  Showers/storms likely early in the day. Clearing later today. High: 73

Friday Night: Clearing, and cool. Lows near 45

SATURDAY:  Mostly sunny and breezy. High: 67

Saturday Night: Mostly clear. Lows near 43

SUNDAY:  Mostly sunny. High: 71

Sunday Night: Mostly clear. Lows near 47
