We are tracking a storm system right now!

Posted: Updated:

We are now tracking a line of showers and storms. These storms will weaken as they move into the News 3 viewing area, but across our east central Alabama counties, a few storms will contain strong winds.

The first line ahead of the front (squall line) will arrive by late morning through 3 p.m. Then the last shot of showers accompanied by the front itself will be moderate to heavy and will clear out between 6-8 p.m.

Cooler, breezy, and drier air will be present through the entire weekend.
