Rain and cold move in

Rain will swing through the area throughout the day. A few rumbles of thunder are possible, but nothing severe is expected. Temperatures will drop as soon as the rain starts. We'll go from near 70 in the morning to the upper 50s by the middle of the afternoon.

A mostly sunny sky will greet us this weekend with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s.

Our next chance of rain, after today, holds off until Wednesday.     

FRIDAY:  Showers/storms as cold front slides by. Temperatures tumble throughout the day. High: 60

Friday Night: Clearing and cool. Lows near 42

SATURDAY:  Mostly sunny. High: 70

Saturday Night: Mostly clear. Lows near 45

SUNDAY:  Mostly sunny. High: 73

Sunday Night: Mostly clear. Lows near 51

MONDAY: Partly cloudy. High: 70

Monday night: Mostly clear. Low: 53

TUESDAY:  Mostly sunny. High: 76

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear. Lows near 55.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy. A slight chance of showers/storms. Highs near 77.

Wednesday Night: Becoming mostly cloudy. Lows near 50.

THURSDAY:  Partly cloudy and dry. High: 72

Thursday Night: Mostly clear. Lows near 51.
