GREENEVILLE, TN (WJHL) -

Kettle corn, crazy fries, fried Oreo's and cookie dough. Yes, the food was a big hit this weekend.

After an 18 year hiatus, the Old Oak Festival made its return for the second year in a row with story telling, crafts, music and of course, some eats and treats.

When planning, they don't allow there to be any duplicates, so you've got to try all the food. One vendor who sold out yesterday tells News Channel 11 her special secret to making strawberry short cakes.

"They're fresh baked here, and that's special, it's not a sponge cake," said vendor, Ella Price. "It's an old fashioned shortbread biscuit. So, it's a sweet biscuit. And then strawberries on top of that and lots of whip cream. It's just simple, old fashioned goodness."

If you're licking your lips right now, bummed you didn't make it to Greeneville this weekend, save the date for next year. It'll run April 25-27.
