We'll be close to average

Posted: Updated:

Average temperatures return this afternoon as highs top out in the upper 70s, close to 80°. More of the same is expected tomorrow before a weakening line of showers, maybe an isolated thunderstorm, arrive tomorrow evening. The line is expected to wash out across the southeast, but the exact location is yet to be determined. That means we could see widespread coverage of rain or a few spotty showers. Regardless, umbrellas might be a good idea to have tomorrow evening.

Cooler air filters in Thursday before retreating Friday.  Another storm system will enter the Deep South this weekend and bring us a chance of rain from Saturday through the extended.
