POLK COUNTY, FL (WFLA) -

Polk deputies want to know if a man with an alleged criminal foot fetish has more victims.

Detectives arrested Reginald Cruz, 23, on Wednesday.  They say Cruz has victimized women in the eastern part of Polk County by gaining access to their feet under false pretenses for his sexual gratification.  Investigators say as recently as January, Cruz approached a 10-year-old child, asking to touch her toes.

Cruz told detectives he has approached hundreds of females requesting to touch or massage their feet.  Deputies say he would use various stories, such as trying to earn a Boy Scout community service badge.  His most recent deception was to present himself as a college student conducting medical research.  Cruz told detectives after massaging their feet, he would determine if they trusted him enough to begin to kiss their feet or suck their toes as he derived sexual pleasure from the activity.

Detectives learned Cruz targeted dark-skin females, such as Latin, Haitian, Jamaican, or African American, approaching them at shopping centers, parks, and community halls.  Cruz has approached females in their cars, at their homes, and while walking down the street.  His victims have ranged from 10 to 32 years old.

Detectives say any potential victims can contact the Polk County Sheriff's Office at (863) 298-6200.
