Harris County beats Columbus on Senior Day

COLUMBUS, Ga. -

The Harris County Tigers spoiled the Columbus High senior day with a 6-1 win at Randy Jordan Field on Thursday afternoon.

Harris County got on the board in the first when Hughes Massengale singled into left, scoring Ty Edwards. After Columbus tied it in the second, Tyler Milner drove in what proved to be the game-winning run with a base hit to right, scoring Neil Jimmerson.

Jimmerson and Ty Edwards each had two hits for the Tigers, and Tony Dalponte added two for the Blue Devils. A.J. Willoughby led everybody with two runs driven in.
