One more sunny day - WRBL

One more sunny day

Posted: Updated:

A few high clouds will try to work their way through our sky, but we'll be so dry that they'll have a tough time holding together.  A mostly sunny sky will lead to another relatively warm afternoon with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.

A storm system from out west will lay down a cold front across the Deep South tomorrow afternoon. This front will be the focus for showers and thunderstorms throughout the weekend and into next week. Sunday is looking like the wetter of the two weekend days, but there's still the chance for isolated showers late Saturday.

The stalled front will be slow to dissolve and will hang around for parts of next week. This keeps an isolated shower chance in the forecast through the extended. Also, as we begin May, we could be talking about another cool down, especially the first weekend. A lot can and will change between now and then, but it's something to keep an eye on as we progress through next week.
