Clouds mainly for Saturday, then rain chances increase

High pressure still remains for the weekend along the mid-Atlantic. A warm front will lift into the region ahead of a cold front helping to lift moist air into the region and increase our coverage for rainfall. 

The cold front to our west will advance east and stall out over the region, allowing several disturbances to ride along the front to bring widespread coverage for rainfall through Monday.

The system eventually dissipates and the remaining moisture will bring isolated showers through Wednesday.

A strong cold area of low pressure will push the remaining system out by late Thursday bringing cooler and windy weather by the end of the week.

SATURDAY:  Partly to mostly cloudy with a chance of rain late. High: 80

Saturday Night: Chance of rain. Lows near 58

SUNDAY:  Scattered showers by afternoon, with a few thunderstorms. High: 77

Sunday Night: Scattered showers. Lows near 60

MONDAY: Scattered showers and a few storms. High: 77

Monday night: Scattered showers. Low: 58

TUESDAY:  Stray shower possible. High: 79

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy. Lows near 59.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy. A few showers late. Highs near 82.

Wednesday Night: Few showers possible. Lows near 60.

THURSDAY:  Clearing and becoming windy late in the day. High: 76

Thursday Night: Mostly clear and wind. Lows near 50.

FRIDAY:  Windy and much cooler. Mostly sunny. High: 66
