Few more showers possible - WRBL

Few more showers possible

Posted: Updated:

Showers will be confined to areas south and east of Columbus. A stray shower is possible tomorrow, but not all that likely. Wednesday and Thursday will be drier before some interesting things happen this weekend.

The first interesting thing is a cut-off low spinning in the middle of the country come Thursday/Friday. This will sit there for a few days and will be the focus for clouds, rain and cooler temperatures. We'll sit on the southeastern fringe of this system and could deal with a swath of rain that develops somewhere along the Gulf Coast. This is a highly variable set-up, so a lot can change. A shift in the low's placement could cause us to be wetter/cooler or warmer/drier. We'll tweak the forecast as we get closer to the event.
