Morning fog leads to afternoon sunshine - WRBL

Morning fog leads to afternoon sunshine

Posted: Updated:

Dense fog will slowly dissipate this morning, making way for a warm afternoon with highs in the low to mid 80s. A low will attempt to develop over Louisiana and send a few showers our direction Wednesday and Thursday. However, most of those showers will stay just to our west.

Our forecast then gets complicated as an upper level low will cut off from the main flow and meander across the eastern half of the country. The exact path of this low will dictate how much rain and cooler weather we see this weekend/beginning of next week. We'll go with a chance of rain from Friday through Monday with cooler temperatures, but any shift in the track could send more rain/cooler temps. We shall see.

TUESDAY:  Morning fog, partly cloudy. High: 84

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy. Lows near 64.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy. Highs near 80.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear. Lows near 60.

THURSDAY:  Partly to mostly cloudy. High: 78

Thursday Night: Mostly clear. Lows near 60.

FRIDAY:  Few scattered showers later in the day. High: 76

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy with a few showers possible. Lows near 57

SATURDAY:  Chance of rain. High: 73

Saturday Night: Chance of rain. Lows near 56

SUNDAY:  Chance of rain. High: 74

Sunday Night: Slight chance of rain. Lows near 57

MONDAY: Chance of rain. High: 78

Monday night: Partly to mostly cloudy. Low: 57
