A 26-year-old West Point, Georgia man is being charged with child molestation.
Arrests warrants have been obtained, charging Kendricus Jerome Buckner with three counts of child molestation, enticing a child for indecent purposes and sexual battery.
On April 24 West Point police received a call in the 1400 block of East 12th Street.
Upon arrival it was discovered that three female victims, ages 5-7 reported an adult male attempted to sexually molest them.
During the investigation officials confirmed Buckner is a registered sex offender in Georgia. He was convicted on October 13, 2003 for child molestation.
Buckner admitted to trying to entice the victims to perform sexual acts on him for a small fee. Buckner is currently being held in the Troup County Jail on violation of probation charges. He will be charged on Wednesday with the additional crimes.
West Point police are asking anyone else who may have been a victim or had unsupervised visits with Buckner to contact the police department at (706) 645-3551.
