Volunteers needed to place flags on graves of soldiers

Ft. Mitchell, Ala. -

Each year, the Fort Mitchell National Cemetery Support Committee honors soldiers by holding a
Memorial Day Service. American flags are placed on over 8,500 sites. Earl Hutchinson, President of FMNC Support Committee says they need volunteers to help place those flags on the graves.

If you're interested in helping, and this includes any organization, church, boy scout or girl scout troop and families or individuals, you're asked to meet at the Fort Mitchell National Cemetery administration building on Saturday, May 25 between 7:30-8:00 a.m. The staff will direct you to an area.

The Memorial Day Service will be held at 1:00 PM EDT on Sunday, May 26th at the Memorial
Plaza in the cemetery.
