May comes in like a lion

Posted: Updated:

This forecast will have some timing issues, with the passage of a front on Saturday and timing of showers, which will lift ahead of the initial front on Saturday; a second, and third front will pass through the region through Monday. Cooler air will be present by the afternoon on Saturday at this time. We will likely reach our high reading in the upper 60s early Saturday, then by afternoon the readings will drop sharply into the lower 60s and 50s. We will see showers increase, with heavy rainfall leading up to the east side of this system (cut off low) then a dry slot works through on the second half of Sunday. I'll stop here because there are too many uncertainties at this time.

    Special Report: Selling seized guns

Instead of destroying them, The Columbus Police Department is selling hundreds of seized guns. Some of the guns were used in crimes, others were found on the road- all of them now headed back to the streets.“The policeman in me says I’d rather not see that gun back on the street, we’ve already gotten a hold of it once, but you’ve got 550 guns- will every one of them be used in a crime? No. Some of them will be sold to someone that will enjoy the use of that gun for the rest of their life and ...
