Man killed in officer-involved shooting in Orlando

ORLANDO, FL -

Authorities say a 21-year-old man is dead after an officer-involved shooting in Orlando.
    
According to investigators, police were conducting a traffic stop Friday at about 10:15 p.m. when Marquis James Spencer rammed his car into a police vehicle multiple times and fled. Spencer crashed the car seconds later.
    
Following the crash, detectives say there was an exchange of gunfire and Spencer was killed. Ronmono Carson fled Spencer's vehicle with a firearm and was taken into custody after surrendering to police. No officers were injured.
    
Carson has been charged with aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer with a firearm.
    
The shooting remains under investigation.
