WASHINGTON, N.C. -

Five people face a felony charge after being accused of using heroin in a car at a Washington Wal-Mart parking lot.

Beaufort County Deputies brought a K-9 unit to search the car Wednesday after someone called to complain.

That's when deputies say they found 62-year-old Samuel Bernard Wiggins of Belhaven, 32-year-old Vivian Joy Clark of Washington, 32-year-old Cecil Bradford Walker of Washington, 55-year-old Gay Silvia of Greenville and 62-year-old James Edward Ross of Pantego with heroin packages in wax paper bindles, used syringes and other drug paraphernalia associated with heroin.

Both Ross and Clark were already out on bond for previous drug related charges.

The five were charged with Felony Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and taken to the Pitt County Detention Center.
