Sarasota deputies looking for 3 men who they said beat up a teenager

Posted: Updated:
SARASOTA COUNTY, FL -

A teenager is at Blake Medical Center Monday morning with serious injuries after being beat up by three men, Sarasota Sheriff's deputies told us.

SCSO detectives need help identifying the three attackers who they said battered the teenager at the Siesta Key Beach near the pavilion area around midnight Monday. Paramedics took the man to the hospital by a helicopter.

Deputies said two of the men involved in the fight are in their late teens, about 6 feet tall, wearing jeans shorts and khaki shorts, both with short, light color hair. They describe the third man as in his mid 20s, "big-boned" with ear length dark and curly hair, wearing a tank top and shorts.

SCSO deputies told us, the men frequented the Payne Park area. They ask anyone with information about the men to contact Detective Kim McGarth at 941-861-4928 or CrimeStoppers.
