MANATEE COUNTY, FL (WFLA) -

Deputies are looking for a man they say pulled a gun on a coin dealer, then ran away when the dealer grabbed a gun of his own.

It happened at Vandegraff's Cortez Coins on US 301 North in Ellenton on Wednesday.  Investigators say the suspect asked for an appraisal on some jewelry, then pulled a pistol and hit the coin dealer on the head.  As the dealer staggered backwards, deputies say the suspect pulled the trigger, but it's not clear whether his gun fired.

The dealer pulled his own gun from behind the counter, and fired a shot as the suspect ran out the door.  Manatee deputies don't know if the suspect was hit.

If you recognize the man from the pictures, you can call the Sheriff's Office at (941) 747-3011.

Personal wipes, baby wipes, face wipes, flushable wipes. They are all designed to help us deal with delicate issues. But the wipes themselves are actually pretty sturdy and increasingly local water systems are finding they are creating costly problems.
