COLUMBUS, Ga. -

UPDATE: Columbus Police have located 12-year-old Jalen Sexton.

ORIGINAL: The Special Victims Division of the Columbus Police Department is asking for the public's help locating 12-year-old Jalen Sexton.

Sexton has been missing since around 4:30 Thursday afternoon. Authorities say he was last seen near Rothschild Middle School, which is located on Hunt Ave. in Columbus.

He is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall, 120 lbs, with black hair. He was last seen wearing dark colored cargo shorts.

Anyone with information on Sexton's whereabouts is asked to call the Columbus Police Department. Their number is 706-225-4711.

    An Amber Alert has been canceled after 2-year old Maliah Harris was found safe in Georgia. Her 7-month-old sibling, Alyssa, was found dead and Maliah disappeared from a Mississippi home which prompted authorities to issue the alert. The girls parents, Donald Boyd Harris,34, and Allison Studdard, 31, are now in custody.
