First Cool, Then a Big Warmup - WRBL

First Cool, Then a Big Warmup

Posted: Updated:

A warm week is ahead, but not before we have one more seasonably cool day.

Temperatures Monday morning will drop into the 40s in many locations, and only a light breeze will prevent them from falling even lower.  The cool morning will be followed by a pleasant day accompanied by a northerly breeze.

Starting Tuesday we'll see an upward climb in both the high and low temperatures, with 90º well within reach by week's end. At the very least, this will be our warmest stretch of weather so far this spring.

Rain appears to be off the table for awhile as an upper level ridge will build over the nation's southern tier, preventing any frontal systems from reaching us.  The warm and dry weather will prevail until we see a change in the upper pattern.
