KINGSPORT, TN (WJHL) -

They were acquaintances, but she says he took their friendship way too far.

"It was on April 21, 2011 that she made some allegations that she was raped and held against her will," said Kingsport Police Detective Sgt. Chris Tincher.

Two years later, police are still trying to find Jarrod Nathan Martin.

"We conducted an investigation and determined that those allegations were in fact true," Tincher said.

Police tracked leads that indicated Martin could be in Big Stone Gap, Virginia or in Atlanta, Georgia.

"If Mr. Martin sees this, it would be a good idea for him to contact me or anybody at the Kingsport Police Department and get this matter resolved," Tincher said.

If you know where police can find Jarrod Nathan Martin, call 423-246-9111.
