RALEIGH, N.C. -

A woman who was killed in North Hills Tuesday had just moved to North Carolina from Cleveland, Tenn., where she worked for a bank.

Co-workers at the First Tennessee Bank in Cleveland, which is just east of Chattanooga, were shaken by the events but told WNCN, no fund or formal rememberance for their co-worker had been set up yet.

A Facebook page in her honor is online, with friends sharing pictures of Melissa Dawn Huggins-Jones.

Raleigh Police are investigating the death of the 30-year-old woman as a homicide after her body was found Tuesday in her apartment at 441 Allister Drive.

Wednesday, Raleigh police continued searching the home for clues, and the complex was still roped off.

Just after 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, a 911 call reported that an 8-year-old girl asked members of a construction crew for help after she said her mother sustained injuries in their residence, Raleigh Police said.

"This kid out here in the streets says her mom has blood all over her," the construction worker told 911.

"There's blood every where...She's as cold as ice."

According to a new search warrant, when officers arrived on scene they found Huggins "deceased from unnatural causes"

Police do not have any suspects in custody at this time.

"Wow, I'm completely shocked," said neighbor Melanie May. "This is North Hills. I've never heard of anything happening this extreme. It's awful."

Huggins-Jones' family said Melissa had deleted her Facebook account on May 11, just four days before she was found dead.

Officers plan to search the Facebook account in hopes of learning more details about the victim and to "develop a possible suspect."
