PERRY, Ga. -

There wasn't a lot of offense, but there was just enough for the Columbus Lady Blue Devils.

Columbus knocked off Veterans, 1-0, in the GHSA AAAA girls soccer semifinals on Tuesday, earning a second consecutive trip to the state championship game.

Nikiay Comer scored the lone goal in the 24th minute, and keeper Anna Scogin did the rest, notching a fourth consecutive postseason shutout.

With the win, Columbus will face Marist at Marist on Friday for the state championship.
