The Florida Forest Service is fighting a 550-acre brush fire near the area of Interstate 4 and CR 557A. Smoke is drifting across the highway.
Officials say the fire is located in Lake Mattie Marsh, and may be burning for a while due to problems with muck in the area.
No roads are closed, but the Forest Service is urging drivers in that area to be careful.
