JACKSONVILLE, N.C. -

Onslow County deputies say they have the man who robbed a bank in Sneads Ferry Thursday afternoon.

Sheriff Ed Brown made the announcement Thursday evening.

Investigators say just before 1:00pm the man identified as David Sharlow walked into the First Citizens bank, handed the teller a note demanding money and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Deputies with the Onslow County Sheriff's Office had surveillance photos out to news outlets within the hour, and say that helped them locate the suspect.
