Two Gators sign NLIs

PHENIX CITY, Ala. -

A pair of Glenwood Gators signed national letters of intent to play college basketball on Thursday.

Senior Trotter Barringer signed to stay close to home and become a Chattahoochee Valley Pirate, where he thinks his game will translate well.

"[Coach] said I'll play the same role I did over here at Glenwood," he said. "That's rebounding, putbacks, stuff like that."

Fellow senior Michael Swann won't be as close to home, but he'll ply his trade at Darton State College.

"I plan to have a big impact at the next level," he said. "With the hard work and dedication we put into it, I think I should have a real big impact."
