Tracking a powerful storm system

Of course all eyes are focused on Memorial Weekend!  Rest assured, this powerful storm system across the Central U.S. will help to bring less humid, sunny, and stable air for your weekend.  We expect this system to move east and not meet a favorable environment for a severe weather outbreak by the time it arrives Wednesday.

The surface high pressure will be centered over the mid-Atlantic and this will increase a strong southerly flow, while the cool front approaches the region. A drier, less humid air mass will prevail setting the stage for a good weekend.
