Search warrants related to the death of Jamie Hahn on April 22 show that Jonathan Broyhill admitted to being involved in the murder.
Broyhill admitted to police he was involved in the murder on TealBrier Road during an interview in the days following the stabbing, according to search warrants. Broyhill also revealed he brought the murder weapon to the Hahn residence from his home on Glascock Street in Raleigh.
Raleigh police seized several phones during a search of the Hahn residence and Broyhill's home. These phones include two iPhones, one LG phone and one Motorola phone.
Search warrants also reveal police were able to search Broyhill's Volvo, two iPads and emails.
Police executed another search warrant to obtain a DNA sample from Broyhill.
Broyhill is being held at Central Prison in Raleigh.
