Still More to Come

Posted: Updated:

More fantastic weather is on the way, which will take us all the way through Memorial Day and even beyond.

Thanks to the influence of a cool high pressure area covering much of the eastern and northern U.S., we'll be able to enjoy some cool mornings and warm days without a lot of humidity.  Sunshine will predominate, though we will probably see a few high clouds on Sunday and more cloudiness on Memorial Day.

The high will remain in place over the east coast, gradually warming day by day so that we will be looking at 90-degree highs again before the week is through.  Moisture will make a slow return, but due to stable air aloft we won't be seeing any chance of rain for at least a week.

Enjoy the outdoors this holiday weekend, but don't forget to use sunscreen as the sun's intensity is quite strong at this time of year.
