LaGRANGE, Ga. -

LaGrange police are asking for the public's assistance in locating three gunmen who injured seven when they opened fire near a large crowd at a LaGrange park Sunday night.

Officers were responding to Union Street Park, located near Union and Ware Street, around 9:30 p.m., to handle crowd control when gunshots rang out. Police say three suspects began firing at each other, striking at least seven gathered nearby.

Two of the suspects have been identified as Xavier Edmondson and Lewis Antonio. A third suspect is described only as a black male wearing dark colored clothing. All three suspects are still being sought by police.

One victim, Emmanuel Roberts, was airlifted to Columbus Medical Center. Three other victims were treated at West Georgia Medical Center. A short time later, authorities located three additional victims: two at West Georgia Medical Center and one at Lanier Memorial Hospital in Valley, Alabama.

Anyone with information regarding the location of the suspects is asked to call LaGrange police at 706-883-2603 or Troup County Crime Stoppers at 706-812-1000. Text messages beginning with the keyword "LAGRANGE" may also be sent to 274637.
