FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

A Cumberland County teacher's aide charged with multiple sex crimes involving a 15-year old boy says the allegations against her are false.

Kari Maria Hogue, 34, of Marsh Road in the Gray's Creek area was arrested Thursday. She is charged with three counts of first-degree sex offense, three counts of taking indecent liberties with a minor and 2 counts of crimes against nature.

The boy says the encounters occurred between March 29 and April 1, 2013. He said the incidents occurred on numerous occasions in Hogue's vehicle.

During Hogue's first appearance Friday, Hogue's attorney told the judge she denies the allegations. After the court appearance the attorney and Hogue declined to comment further.

Hogue was a teacher's aide at Alderman Road Elementary School. Cumberland County Schools employees who answered the phone at the school and the district office would not comment on Hogue's employment status. The district's public information officer did not respond Friday to a voicemail message requesting that employment information.

Hogue was released from the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $100,000 unsecured bond. She is scheduled to be in court again on June 27.
