WEST POINT, Ga. -

Three men face charges in West Point, Ga. after police say they found about 55 pounds of marijuana.

29-year-old Enrique Gilliam, 29-year-old Timothy Bridges, and Michael Buchanan were all arrested this week.

Police say they chased Gilliam through West Point and into parts of Alabama, damaging several Georgia State Patrol vehicles along the way.

After Gilliam's arrest, police say they conducted search warrants at three locations, where they say Gilliam hid large quantities of marijuana.

Timothy Bridges was found at one of the locations with a woman and a small child along with a handgun and cars police say were purchased with drug money.

Police say Michael Buchanan was arrested in Atlanta after they discovered plans to deliver a large amount of marijuana to West Point.

The investigation is ongoing.
