Columbus natives in hunt after second round of Southeastern Amateur

COLUMBUS, Ga. -

Former Columbus High star Jimmy Beck shot a one-over 72 on Thursday's round two of the Southeastern Amateur.

He is -5 for the tournament, two shots ahead of a trio at -3, including former Brookstone star and current CSU golfer Cates Culpepper.

After Friday's third round, the field will be cut, with the final round on Saturday.
