Suspicious package prompts concerns in downtown Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. -

A section of Raleigh's busy Glenwood district was closed off for a time Sunday afternoon after reports of a suspicious package.

The incident focused in the 400 block of Glenwood, around the intersection of Tucker and Glenwood when a passerby reported seeing a grenade on a bench. 

Traffic was closed off for about an hour before the Raleigh bomb squad determined the grenade was a fake.
