Lions' seasons ends with a loss in Albany

The Columbus Lions season is over after a 59-35 loss at the hands of the Albany Panthers.

The Lions only trailed by one point at halftime, but they didn't have any momentum in the 2nd half.

The loss gives the Lions a 4-7 record for the 2013 season.

Lee Chapple threw four touchdowns and one interception on the day for Columbus.

Albany's Cecil Lester topped him with seven touchdown passes.

The Panthers will move on to the PIFL playoffs. The Lions' season is done.
