Group tosses baseballs to protest McCrory

RALEIGH, N.C. -

A group gathered at the State Capitol Friday morning to send a message to the governor about education.

The group led by Progress North Carolina rallied at 10:30 a.m. with baseballs, a nod to their criticism over Gov. Pat McCrory playing baseball on the Capitol lawn, but not meeting with parents and children about concerns over education. One protester called that "a slap in the face."

Earlier this month, cameras captured the governor playing catch outside his office, but he's catching flack from some.
