A fundraiser held Saturday for five-year-old Aidyn Reid, who suffers from a rare form of germ cell cancer.

A bike and car show was held in front of Ossahatchee Seafood and Steakhouse. This is the third time the restaurant has helped with the fundraiser.

Dora Reid and her family adopted Aidyn in 2009. He recently got out of the hospital from a surgery. He is constantly in and out of the hospital for check-ups and medical procedures.

Reid wants to stress to mothers to get pre-natal care, saying this cancer could have been prevented. "If you think anything is wrong with your child that instinct of a mom will tell you have it checked out and don't stop until somebody does a test because that's exactly what happened with us."

To donate for the cause, visits Wells Fargo Bank or 1st People's bank in Hamilton and say it's for the Aidyn Reid Fund.

The family will have another fundraiser August 10th.
