Midland, Ga. — The new Goodwill Career Center in Midland will partner with numerous employers within our community to host a job fair Tuesday, July 9th, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the center.
Area job seekers should bring a resume and come dressed professionally. Opportunities to include positions with Columbus Consolidated Government, Wells Fargo, Pezold Management, Alatrade, Manpower, the Columbus Police Department and more.
"This first job fair is just an introduction to the community to showcase the services and resources that Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers has to offer," Goodwill Career Center manager Luis Garcia said of the event.
"With the new Career Center, we will be able to provide the community with more opportunities to look for work," he said. "Not only are we able to connect people with jobs, but we are also able to provide new options for community members to utilize our services. We are offering modified hours to better meet our clients schedules and more classes to help people make that change in their life they are searching for."
