More than 140 apartments, condos in Orange Co. damaged by floods

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -

Clean-up efforts are still underway in Chapel Hill as officials continue to evaluate areas that were affected by recent floods.

Damage assessment teams worked in the Camelot Village, Booker Creek and Brookwood Condominium areas where hundreds of units are now condemned. Camelot Village has 68 of 106 units condemned, Booker Creek has 22 of 124 and Brookwood Condominiums have 51 units that were damaged with water in the crawl space.

The teams will be back out Tuesday to assess Village Green Condominiums, University Mall and Hillsborough Street.
