Wayne Co. minister facing sex exploitation charges

MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. -
Police have charged a Mount Olive minister with second-degree
sexual exploitation of a minor.
Officers arrested Timothy Strickland, 41, on Tuesday as a
result of a joint investigation by the Mount Olive Police Department, Wayne
County Sheriff's Office, Duplin County Sheriff's Office and the Federal Bureau
When officers searched Strickland's home, they found
materials that indicated sexual exploitation of minors.
Strickland is charged with 10 counts of second-degree sexual
exploitation of a minor and was placed in jail under a $50,000 secured bond.
