Durham police investigating fatal shooting

DURHAM, N.C. -

Durham police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Thursday morning.

The incident occurred at just after 12:30 in the 200 block of Mutual Court. A male victim was found shot inside the home. Police have identified the victim as Maurice Arnold, 49. Arnold was pronounced dead at the scene.

At this time, police do not believe the incident was a random act.
