After a rainy Independence Day washed out many Fourth of July fireworks shows, Phenix City is prepared to light up the night sky tonight.
The city's postponed fireworks display will happen around 10 PM. City Manager Wallace Hunter told News 3 it would have to start raining hard for the show to get canceled.
The event kicks-off with "Dance at the Amp" which starts at 8 PM and features The American Flyers. Admission is $10 for adults and free for children 12 and under. Concession stands will be available.
Auburn has postponed their fireworks display until Labor Day.
