Among all the players at SEC media days, there is one that stood out above the rest, quite literally, Jadeveon Clowney.

It is easy to be relaxed when you're the most feared player in football.

Jadeveon Clowney hummed while entered the Media Days room in Hoover, Alabama.

The famous hit against Michigan put an exclamation point on an amazing sophomore season for Clowney.

I was amazed it by it for the first month and then I was like, gah, they are still showing it. It was getting wild. Everybody found out about who I was from that hit. It was great though," Clowney said.

And his teammates knew he did something very special.

"Actually, I didn't even see the play, but I heard it," said Bruce Ellington, South Carolina wide receiver. "I jumped back when I heard it and I saw it on the big screen. He is a great guy, you know. He looks to make plays like that."

Clowney's coach Steve Spurrier was asked if the defensive end is the best player he has coached.

"He might be the best defensive end. I don't know if he could play offensive guard or not. He probably could," Spurrier said.

Most experts agree that Clowney is ready for the pros. But, he says he is okay with staying one more season.

"It don't bother me. I don't mind staying three years. When I'm on campus it is like the greatest feeling in the world. Everybody is calling me.They're like hey Clowney, and I'm like what's up. College is a great experience," said Clowney.

All day, quarterbacks said Clowney is the best defender in the SEC.

Coach Spurrier says Clowney may be the best defensive end of all time.

South Carolina has a tough start to their season, with North Carolina in week one and Georgia in week two.
