Northwest flow aloft will continue to send pieces of energy in to the Deep South. These pieces of energy will help energize the atmosphere enough to spark off more scattered showers and storms today and tomorrow. The storm track shifts south Thursday & Friday before lifting north for the weekend. There's the possibility of a few of these storms to be on the stronger side of things; including damaging winds, frequent lightning and torrential rain.
