Man seriously injured after shooting at Columbus house party

COLUMBUS, Ga. -

Columbus police are searching for at least one person after an early morning shooting at a house party.

Thirty-one-year-old Travis Porter is wanted after he allegedly fired into a crowd of people at 2609 Garden Drive around 3:30 AM Saturday. Police said more than one person was shooting, but have not identified any other suspects.

Two people were hurt in the incident. Carl Jackson, 31, is in critical condition at a hospital after he was shot in the chest. Thirty-two-year-old Lena Williams was shot in both legs and has been treated and released from the hospital.

Five people who live at the house were also charged, some with maintaining a disorderly household.
